Names:  Sophia and Luigi

Rank: both are Ensigns

Background:  Sophia was born in Venice and Luigi was born in Rome.  They met
             "by accident" at Road Rover Acedemy, fell in love and got
             married.  Have four children Bernadette, Vanni, Giorgio and Carla
             Luigi works in Damage Control, Sophia is an engineering trainee

Special Abilities:  Sophia can fly, Luigi has X-ray vision

Breed:  Italian Greyhound  

Accent:  Italian

Description:  They're all colored white and brown. 


Name:  Lao Zi and Su Li 

Rank:  Both are Cadets

Background:  Both were born in Tibet on a collective farm.  Both ran away from
             their abusive master during a revolt against the Chinese.  The 
             Master called them to Road Rover Acedemy, they later married and 
             had two sons (Deng and Ping).  Lao Zi is a Science trainee, Su Li 
             is assigned to Security.

Special Abilities: Lao Zi was named after an ancient Chinese philosopher, this
                   fits him because he has great mental and reasoning 
                   abilities, can create illusions.  Su Li is skilled in
                   martial arts and weapons

Breed:  Shih Tzu

Accent: Chinese

Description: Loi Si and Su Li stand about 5'6", have long light brown fur.
             Deng and Pong are smalled 'versions' of thier parents.


Name: Poncho

Rank:  Cadet

Background:  Born in Lima, Peru.  Poncho was the dog of a wealthy landowner.
             He was kidnapped by Shining Path separatists and held for 
             ransom.  The ransom was never paid and Poncho was thrown in the
             ocean, still in his locked cage.  Spotted and rescued by the
             Road Rovers, Poncho joined the Rovers and was assigned to the
             Canius Minor as a security trainee.  

Special Abilities:  Can "shrink" at will, even to microscopic size 

Breed: Chihuahua

Accent:  Spanish

Description:  Dark brown, stands a little less than 5'


Name:  Numbia

Rank: Ensign

Background:  Born in Tripoli, Libya.  Numbia was assigned to the K-9 corp 
             of the Libyian army.  Left behind during desert training
             maneuvers, she crawled to an oasis and was rescued by the Road
             Rovers.  Assigned to Canius Minor at the "last minute." 

Breed: 

Special Abilities:  None at first. but later discovers that she's a 
                    shape-shifter

Accent: Arabic 

Description: Black with brown patches.


Names:  Derby

Rank: Cadet

Background:  Born in Salisbury, Zimbawae.  He lived on an English plantation
             and was named Derby as a pup because he loved to sleep in his
             master's hat.  

Breed:  Bulldog

Special Abilities:  Has "built-in" night (infared) vision

Accent:  English

Description:  White 


Name:  Claudia

Rank:  Cadet 

Background:  Born in St John's, Newfoundland, she was the dog of a veteran
             sea captain.  Graduated near the top of her Acedemy class.

Breed:  Labador

Special Abilities:  can swim fast and breathe 'underwater'.

Accent:  New Englandish 

Description:  Brown coat, stands 6'5"
